First a little bit about me. I am a performer, public speaker, corporate trainer and dance instructor. I'm comfortable working with small and large groups of all ages. You might say that I'm a "Recruited DJ." Over the years, I've been the "go-to" person for providing quality music for many parties of friends and relatives. The natural outgrowth of these experiences was to take the skills I've learned and honed over the years and to offer these services to others.
I offer a unique blend of professional entertainment for venues ranging from small house parties, fund raisers, corporate functions and more. This is coupled with the fact that I love music and love to see people having fun with music.

To make sure everybody has a great time at your event, how about offering a free dance class for party guests? My wife and I have trained with top instructors from all over the USA. As a result, we are both comfortable teaching a variety of "Beginner" level dance styles (Swing, Hustle, Cha cha, Cajun/Zydeco, Night Club Two-step, Salsa and more). Our dance instruction focuses primarily on 'Social Dancing" not "Competitive dancing."
My dance experience also gives me a unique advantage in recognizing the types and tempos of music that are likely to keep the party going. I've been on the receiving end of both the overly loud, extended musical sets of DJ's and live bands and can appreciate how painful it can be. My style of DJing is what I call "Perceptually Elegant Sound.TM" Meaning, with me as your DJ, you will definitely hear the music and you will definitely feel the beat, but you will also be able to carry on a conversation with your friends and leave the party without that ringing in your ears. Have you ever been to a dance, wedding reception, club or party and the music was so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation. That "Old School" method of blasting the audience with a barrage of sound is unnecessary. These days, many DJ's and musicians have replaced their old, heavy, bulky, space grabbing loud speakers with much more elegant sound systems. I personally prefer the Bose L1 system, which is a much cleaner sound produced by the Bose Line array concept. Granted, With the Bose L1 system, unlike dance clubs with big sound systems, you won't feel like someone is punching you in the chest with the base beat and your ears won't ring at the end of the night, but you will definitely have a much cleaner perceptual musical experience both in your dancing and listening pleasure.
Finally, If you are working with a tight budget, Let's talk, maybe we can work something out. My prices are reasonable and flexible. Most importantly, I have the right attitude, I'm friendly, I'm approachable and professional.
